Home Buyer Blunders

Before you think about purchasing a home, keep these four tips in mind:

1.) Get pre-approved, first! Just because you THINK you can afford a certain price, doesn’t mean a lender will approve you for the amount.

2.) Be realistic when submitting offers; if your offer isn’t accepted, chances are someone else will swoop up the property you have your eye on.

3.) Wait to buy that new car while in escrow…. while it WILL look great in your new driveway, the house is more important!

4.) Closing costs can be 7% of the home’s purchase price. That’s a lot of extra dough you’ll need, so do your homework and be educated on the costs of purchasing a home!
